We accept
cash, cheque and credit cards by arrangement.

When
do I pay you?
|
Our terms are
strictly "pre-payment" or "cash on
delivery". If there is a possibility you will not
be present at time of delivery, we suggest that you
leave payment with a workmate or in an obvious place. No
money - no pizza. A re-delivery will incur an $11.00
surcharge.

How
can you offer a same day service when other pick up and
delivery services offer a 2 and 3 day service?
|
The difference
is we own and operate our own plant located within inner
eastern Melbourne. Modern up to date equipment and
experienced staff service the pick up and delivery work
flow that is our core activity.

What
is your policy on reprocessing garments I am not
satisfied with?
|
Our policy is
to guarantee satisfaction. We will re-process at no
additional charge. This may require your "owners
risk" should a stain require treatment beyond the
garment's care label.

Do
you guarantee to remove all stains?
|
Whilst almost
all stains are removable, much depends on the type of
stain and the particular fabric. Natural fibres accept
dye stuff and lose them just as easily. Not all stains
can be removed safely. For this reason we will provide
you an owners risk form with an explanation of the
possible result of further processing. Any risk is a
decision for you to make.

Do
you have a three piece special?
|
We have a
perennial special of $5.40 off for every three pieces.
Each piece is priced individually and for every three
there applies the $5.40 discount.

Why
don't you just have a fixed price three piece special?
|
Our method of
pricing is a fair way of doing business. We discount for
whatever you give us i.e. every item attracts a discount
whether or not it is a non standard piece or not. Other
dry cleaners will not honour a three piece special if one
piece is not a standard item and you end up paying full
price for three items.

What
time do I have to book with you to get a same day
delivery?
|
We operate a
strict cut off time of 9.00am. If you book after this
time we cannot provide any surety of a same day
delivery. In this case we can assure you of an overnight
delivery at worst.

areas do you service?
|
Currently, we
service the Melbourne CBD, South Melbourne, St Kilda Rd,
St Kilda, Prahran, Malvern, Toorak, Hawthorn, Richmond
and Collingwood.

Can
I get my dry cleaning picked up on weekends?
|
Pick up and
delivery services operate 5 days per week Monday to
Friday.

Can
I get my dry cleaning picked up from home after working
hours?
|
Yes, we
provide a domestic pick up and delivery service before
and after hours by arrangement.

Can
you pick up my dry cleaning from work and drop off at
home?
|
Yes, we can
provided that both the pick up and delivery points are
within our areas of circulation. An additional fee of
$11.00 flat will be charge for this service.

Can
you do repairs and alterations?
|
Yes, we can
undertake all types of garment repair and alteration.
Allow up to two to three days turnaround from day of
pick up.

How
do I become a VIP customer and get my own PIN?
|
Once you
become a regular user of our service, we will provide
you with your own VIP card and personalised
identification number. Provided you have a tone phone,
all you have to do is key in your PIN after the tone and
hang up.

Do
you offer a "deluxe" or "orchid"
service?
|
Yes, we offer
a full deluxe service and we specialise in wedding
gowns, formal wear and after five apparel.

Can
you wash and press shirts and do my washing?
|
Yes, we can
expertly launder and press your shirts. You can specify
whether you want them hung or folded. Our hi-tech washer
and dryer equipment ensure wash and dry cycles are
gentle on your washing and, most importantly, not over
dried ensuring little or no pressing.

Can
you clean and starch my damask table linen?
|
Yes, we can
provide an overnight linen service. You can specify what
degree of starch you require and how you want napkins,
placemats and tablecloths presented.

Do
you clean suede and leathers?
|
Yes, we send
leathers to a specialist cleaner. Allow up to ten
working days from the day of pick up.

Can
you provide invisible repairs?
|
Yes, we
utilise a specialist invisible repairer. Invisible
grafts and weaves are expensive due to the time factor
involved. The repairer will not undertake a repair
unless they are confident that the result will be
satisfactory. Allow up to ten working days from day of
pick up.

Do
you dye clothes?
|
Yes, we can
provide a fabric dye service. The fabric you wish to dye
must be 100% natural fibre and shrinkage resistant. Any
visible thread is most likely to have a polyester
content and will not take the colour. Consider this
statistic - 3% of all dye jobs of garments in the made
up state are 100% satisfactory. Therefore in 97% of the
time your are best off spending your money on a new
garment the colour you want. Allow up to ten working
days from day of pick up.

Do
I have
to have my garment in for a repair cleaned?
|
Yes, it is a
health and safety requirement to have any used garment
cleaned prior to repair. New garments with shop tags
attached will avoid this expense.

Can
I have my garments "pressed only"?
|
Yes, this is
no problem provided you stipulate your requirement at
time of pick up. Press only items are exempt from our
volume discount pricing and will be charged at 75% of
the standard piece price.

Can
you clean my doona and how long will it take?
|
| Yes we can
clean doonas and quilts by either "wet" or
"dry" methods. Subject to the filling,
turnaround can be same day or at worst overnight. |
